New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India crossed the 18 lakh-mark today and have reached 18,03,695, after 52,972 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to Union Health Ministry data.
Meanwhile, the death toll stands at 38,135 after 771 new fatalities were reported in the country during this period.
In worst-affected Maharashtra the coronavirus tally reaches 4,41,228, followed by Tamil Nadu (251,738), Andhra Pradesh (1,58,764) and Delhi (137,677).
