New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has reached 20,88,611, after 61,537 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to Union Health Ministry data.
Meanwhile, the death toll stands at 42,518 after 933 new fatalities were reported in the country during this period.
Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state with 4,90,262 coronavirus cases followed by Tamil Nadu (2,85,024), Andhra Pradesh (2,06,960) and Delhi (1,42,723).
