New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has reached 24,61,190, after 64,553 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, the biggest single-day jump so far, according to Union Health Ministry data.
Meanwhile, the death toll stands at 48,040 after 1,007 new fatalities were reported in the country during this period.
In worst-affected Maharashtra the coronavirus tally reaches 5,60,126, followed by Tamil Nadu (3,20,355), Andhra Pradesh (2,64,142) and Delhi (1,49,460).
