New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has reached 29,75,701, after 69,878 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, biggest single-day rise, according to Union Health Ministry data.
Meanwhile, the death toll stands at 55,794 after 945 new fatalities were reported in the country during this period.
In the worst-hit Maharashtra, the coronavirus cases climbed to 6,57,450, followed by Tamil Nadu with 3,67,430 cases, and Andhra Pradesh with 3,34,940 cases.
