New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India crossed the 58 lakh-mark today and reached 58,18,571, with another huge surge of 86,052 positive cases in the last 24 hours, according to Union Health Ministry data.

The country’s death toll has gone up to 92,290 after 1,141 new fatalities were reported in the country during this period.

In terms of total number of cases, Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state with 12,82,963 coronavirus cases followed by Andhra Pradesh with 6,54,385 cases, Tamil Nadu with 5,63,691 positive cases.
