New Delhi (NVI): All eyes are on the Central Board of Secondary Education for the announcement of board exam dates for Class 10 and 12 after Gujarat and Maharashtra have decided to postpone these exams in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Students, parents as well as various stakeholders are now expecting a similar decision by the CBSE which conducts board exams for lakhs of Class 10th and 12th students in the country every year. The board exams are normally conducted in the months of February and May.
However, Gujarat and Maharashtra have decided to conduct the exams in May 2021.
Last month, CBSE and CISCE had said that they are planning to either postpone the exams or cut the syllabus – or choose a combination thereof.
