Srinagar, Apr 13 (NVI) : Hot and dry weather conditions are likely to prevail across Jammu and Kashmir over the next three days, with the Meteorological authorities forecasting a noticeable rise in day temperatures, officials said on Monday.

Reports to the latest advisory issued by weather observers, the region is expected to witness clear skies and dry conditions, providing a stable weather window for both residents and the farming community. Day temperatures are likely to increase by around 4–5 degrees Celsius during the next 72 hours.

Agricultural experts have advised farmers to continue spraying operations and other field activities until April 16, as the prevailing dry spell is considered favourable for crop management.

The absence of rainfall is expected to help cultivators carry out time-sensitive farm work without interruptions.

Weather officials further said that the current dry phase is part of a broader trend of improving conditions following recent spells of rain and snowfall in the region.

The stable weather is likely to support agricultural productivity and routine outdoor activities across both Kashmir and Jammu divisions.

Authorities have urged farmers and the general public to make optimal use of the favourable conditions while taking precautions against rising temperatures during the daytime.(NVI)
