Srinagar (NVI): A terrorist was killed in an ongoing operation after an encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Hadipora area of Kashmir’s Shopian district.
“01 unidentified terrorist killed. Operation going on. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.

According to police, two to three terrorists were said to be trapped at the Hadipora area.
Earlier in the day, two encounters broke out between terrorists and security forces in Hadipora area of Shopian and Senthem in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Yesterday, at least seven terrorists, including terror outfit Ansar Ghazwatul Hind chief Imtiaz Ahmad Shah, were gunned down by security forces in two encounters in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian and Pulwama districts.
