Baramulla (Kashmir): It was a clear demonstration of the misuse of Burqa when a terrorist wearing the Islamic veil carried out a grenade attack in a high-security zone here in Kashmir, killing one person and injuring 3 last night.
According to a CCTV footage, two persons arrived at the newly-opened wine shop in Dewan Bagh area of Baramulla on a motorcycle.
The pillion rider, wearing a burqa, walked up to the window of the shop and dropped a grenade inside the wine shop through the hole window and fled away on the bike, a police spokesman said.
Four employees of the shop were injured in the blast, one of whom succumbed later.
All the four victims are non-Kashmiris and hailed from Jammu region.
The police has analyzed the CCTV footage and efforts are being made to trace the bike and its owner.

The blast in Baramulla, which has largely remained peaceful over the last few years, is a matter of concern for the security establishment.
More worryingly, the attack took place in a high security area which houses the offices and residences of Deputy Inspector General of Police in north Kashmir and Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla. The residence of a top Army official of the rank of Major General is also located in the same area.
