Srinagar: In a hugely significant development, the national tricolor was hoisted on the houses of several active and slain terrorists in Kashmir today, on the eve of the Independence Day.
The Tiranga was hoisted on the house of active terrorist Aqib Nazir Shergojree in Sarai Chadoora area of Budgam district in central Kashmir.
Aqib Nazir is affiliated with Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit.
The national fag was also hoisted at residences of Hizbul Mujahideen commanders Zaffar Hussain Bhat and Amir Khan at Liver Srigufwara.
The Tiranga was hoisted at the house of LeT handler Hashir Rafiq too.
The Tiranga was hoisted at houses of active terrorists Gowhar Manzoor Mir in Hardumir and Asif Sheikh in Monghama in Tral.
The house of active terrorist Aijaz Ah. Bhat in Pastuna Syedabad Aripal was also adorned with the national flag.
Father of terrorist Rayaz Naikoo, who was killed in an encounter some years back, also hoisted the national flag at his residence at Beighpora.
House of killed terrorist Hamad Khan in Seer area of Tral was also adorned with the Tiranga.
