Jammu, Jan 25(NVI): Additional Director General (Western Command) of the Border Security Force (BSF), Satish S Khandare, has called for effective border domination to thwart anti-national activities along the International Border in Jammu.
On a three-day tour that commenced on January 23, Khandare reviewed the security situation in forward areas of Kathua and Jammu districts. He was briefed by field commanders on operational preparedness and the prevailing security scenario.
While addressing a Prahari Sammelan at the BSF headquarters in Jammu, Khandare lauded the dedication and professionalism of the troops. He emphasized the importance of proactive border management to ensure peace and security in the region.
During his visit to the Hiranagar sector in Kathua and the Akhnoor border area in Jammu, Khandare discussed critical aspects of border security and operational strategies with sector commanders and battalion commandants.
He expressed confidence in the BSF’s ability to handle challenges along the border and urged the troops to remain vigilant and committed to their duties.
