Srinagar: A tourist from Gujarat died in Pahalgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district today, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Auns Foizen, aged about 49 years, who is son of Solomon Foizen and resident of Vadodara in Gujarat.
Foizen staying in Hotel Movera in Pahalgam where he fell unconscious, the officials said.
He was shifted to SDH Seer Hamdan for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Further proceedings in this regard have been taken up, the officials said.
