Peshawar, June 7 (NVI) Mocking the Pakistani military leadership in the context of recent conflict with India, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief Noor Wali Mehsud has exposed it for “waging a fake” war and “celebrating a fake victory” to “squander as much budget as possible” and “justify cruel operations going on” against civilians in Pakistan.

In his rare statement issued primarily to greet people on the occasion of Eid-ul Azha, Mehsud said the Pakistani military has also “sown a seed of hostility with the brotherly Islamic country” on the western border, implying Afghanistan, besides making lives of the tribal people within Pakistan “miserable with continuous attacks by drones and quadcopters”.

“The powerful institutions of Pakistan are making every effort to push the region and international powers into a war in order to support the declining reputation of the security institutions and hide the open defeat,” the Emir of TTP said, referring to the Pakistani military leadership.

“Therefore, other powers in the region should be wary of Pakistan’s cunning tricks, and avoid getting involved in this (Pakistani military’s) war,” he said in a clear advice to India and Afghanistan.

Asking the countrymen to “remain alert” to the machinations of the Pakistani military, the TTP chief reached out to “the tribal elders, national leaders and political leaders”, highlighting that “the mercenary” Pakistan Army, “under the pretext of operations in the name of terrorism, has implemented the plans of the colonial powers and made the lives of the tribal people miserable with continuous attacks by drones and quadcopters.”

At the same time, “under the pretext of tension on the western border, it (Pakistan Army) has sown a seed of hostility with the brotherly Islamic country,” he said.

“On the other hand, the remnants of the British army (meaning Pakistan Army), after waging a fake and conventional war on the eastern border (with India), have once again made a sinister attempt to squander as much budget as possible and justify the illegal and cruel operations going on in the country by celebrating a fake victory, patting themselves on the back and adorning their own chests with medals,” he said.

He was referring to the military confrontation with India, triggered by the Pahalgam terror attack of April 22. During the 4-day episode, India destroyed 9 major terror camps deep inside Pakistan and caused huge damage to the Pakistani military installations, including Air bases, while foiling all attacks from Pakistan effectively.

Despite the huge damage incurred, Pakistan government and its military held celebratory events as if it had won and Army Chief Gen Asim Munir was promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. This is what was mocked by the TTP chief.

He said the citizens of Pakistan “should never forget the atrocities of this General and capitalist political class due to some sensational news of the media.”

He underlined that “the goal of this showy war (of Pakistan) was neither to save the country, nor to protect the lives and property of the Pakistani people. Otherwise, Kashmir would not have been traded, nor would the leadership of the Kashmiri Mujahideen and the Mujahideen wanted by India have been killed in broad daylight in the squares and intersections of Karachi and the cities of Punjab.”

Holding that “Pakistan has always sacrificed religion and religious and religious classes for its foreign policy”, he said, “the nation should be satisfied that the dirty hand of the (Pakistani) military group will be removed from the precious reserves here soon.”

He noted that “the self-confident Mujahideen of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan have made the Western-funded army determined not to digest these objectives, and have blown them into their noses.”

Making it “clear to the countries of the region and international powers that we have no external agenda”, the TTP chief said, “Our war against the Pakistani occupation army is for the sake of achieving our religious values and the Islamic system.”

He said, “By taking away the religious and national autonomy and freedom of the tribal belt through the mediation of some traitors, the occupying army has looted valuable minerals and reserves.”

Slamming the Pakistani military leadership, he said, “To restore their declining reputation, they are busy in a nefarious attempt to continuously target the innocent people through quadcopters and drones at various public places.”

At the same time, the Pakistani military is “busy blaming the TTP for all these crimes through the paid journalists. But the truth cannot be hidden because the Pakistani people have witnessed the oppression by the State thugs for 24 years and the entire nation is now aware of the State’s tricks,” he said.

“Therefore, the people should be more careful not to fall into the secret plans and anti-Dajjal tricks of these traitors of religion and nation.

While extending Eid greetings, Mehsud said, “May Allah Almighty grant the Muslim Ummah the ability to understand the spirit of sacrifice and its reality and act on it, and make this apparent sacrifice of ours a prelude to the real sacrifice, and grant us the ability to be ready to sacrifice our lives, property, and children in the true sense for the defense of the pure religion.” (NVI)
