Peshawar, June 22 (NVI) Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) tonight claimed to have killed at least 13 Pakistani soldiers and injured around 20 in multiple attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.
One of the attacks was big as the TTP cadres ambushed a military convoy in Engmal area of Razmak in North Waziristan.
At least 10 Army personnel were killed and 15 injured in the ambush, TTP spokesman Muhammad Khorasani said in a statement.
He added that 6 military vehicles were completely destroyed in the attack.
In another attack on the military in same Razmak, 2 soldiers were killed and 3 injured, he said.
Separately, TTP cadres attacked a large army post in Razmak, using a grenade launcher and assault rifles.
The army suffered loss of life and property in the attack in which a security camera was also destroyed.
At least 4 Pakistani soldiers were injured when a grenade launcher was used to attack a “Kande Post” in the Garium district of North Waziristan today, Khorasani said.
A soldier was targeted in a sniper attack in the Nishpa Qala area of the Sararugha district of South Waziristan, he said. (NVI)
