Peshawar, May 17 (NVI) Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) tonight claimed to have killed at least 20 Pakistani military personnel and injured several others in multiple attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province since yesterday.
The biggest attack was in the form of a mine blast which targeted a Pakistan Army truck in Dela area of Tiaraz district of South Waziristan today.
Up to 10 military personnel were killed and injured in the explosion, TTP spokesman Muhammad Khorasani said.
In another incident, TTP attacked an army unit coming with the intention of conducting a raid in the Panyala Ghormanj mountains of Dera in DI Khan district, the spokesman said.
In this, 4 army personnel were killed and several were injured, while the Taliban remained completely safe, Khorasani said.
TTP also attacked Samand Levies check post located on the Nal CPEC Road in the Khuzdar district of Kalat province, in which 4 Levies personnel were killed, he said.
The Taliban also recovered two Kalashnikovs and a motorcycle, the spokesman said while revealing the names of the killed personnel as

In another attack, a missile was fired at the main military fort and police station in Kalachi district of DI Khan district, which hit right in the middle, causing casualties and property damage, he said.
This morning, a timely action was taken against the army that had come with the intention of raiding in Tank district, Tank Akbari village, in which a drone camera was shot down, while there are also reports of deaths and injuries, he said.
Yesterday at 12 noon, a sniper ambush was carried out on foot soldiers in the Satkando area of Datta Khel district of North Waziristan, in which one soldier was killed and another was injured.
This afternoon, a sniper attack was launched on a military post in Sur Kili area of Jandola district, Tank province, in which one military personnel was killed and a camera was destroyed. (NVI)
