TTP kills 8 Pakistani soldiers, injures 6 in 2 attacks

Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan killed 8 Pakistani security personnel and injured 6 in two attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan, the Islamist outfit said.

In the morning, TTP ambushed a convoy of Pakistan army and Frontier Corps (FC) in Duwatoi area of ​​Bara Wadi Tirah in Khyber Agency of Peshawar, its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said.

As a result of the attack, 7 security personnel, including Subedar Major, were killed and six others were injured, he said in a statement.

A number of trucks and a pick-up vehicle were also burnt to ashes, he said.

“We reiterate that our morale is not weakened by the ongoing military atrocities in the country,” the TTP spokesman asserted.

In a separate attack, he said the TTP shot and killed a policeman in Mandan police station area of Bannu district.
