Bannu (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) : Ten days after capturing a Pakistan Frontier Corps, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) today said he has been executed as he was actually a spy of the Pakistan Army.

TTP spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said Nek Mohammad was killed after failure of negotiations with the Army and Police.

“Ten days ago, on January 6, Mujahideen of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan arrested an apparent FC official and actually an army spy named Nek Mohammad in Shaktoi Tehsil of South Waziristan,” he said in a statement to News Vibes of India (NVI).

“Nek Muhammad was not killed only because he was an FC official but he was killed because he was also playing the role of a spy for the army and the FC,” Khurasani said.

“He was executed after a thorough investigation,” the TTP spokesman said.
