Peshawar: Intensifying its operations against Pakistan Army and associated agencies, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) killed 94 soldiers and injured 103 in 98 attacks at various places across the country in the month of July.
In the month of June, TTP carried out 64 attacks in which 73 soldiers were killed and 83 injured.
Releasing a detailed report of its activities in the month of July, TTP said out of the total 98 attacks, 30 were carried out in Bannu, 25 in Peshawar, 20 in Dera Ismail Khan, 7 in Kohat, 4 in Mardan, 3 in Zhob, 4 in Malakand and 5 in Balochistan.
Among the institutions hit in these attacks, 103 belonged to the Pakistan Army, 52 to Frontier Corps (FC) paramilitary force, 37 to Police/Levies and 5 to secret agencies, according to the statement issued by TTP spokesman Muhammad Khurasani.
The nature of operations included 29 Sniper/Laser Attacks, 24 Counter attacks, 12 Grenade attacks/Bombings, 12 Targeted Attacks, 10 Guerrilla attacks, 10 Ambushes and one Missile attack.
In these operations, the TTP destroyed 9 military vehicles, 9 spy cameras, 3 police stations, and 1 each military post, police mobile and drone camera, he said.
The TTP seized 5 Kalashnikov rifles in these attacks, Khurasani said.
In the first 6 months of this year, the TTP killed 387 Pakistani soldiers and injured 484 other personnel in multiple attacks in different places across the country.

The TTP has been waging an all-out war against the Pakistani military, especially the Army, since November 27 last year.
It says the Pakistan Army is corrupt, unholy and responsible for all the problems afflicting Pakistan, including the unprecedented economic crisis.
