Peshawar: As Pakistan faces the unprecedented economic crisis, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) today said the solution to “all the problems” of the country lies in implementation of the Islamic rule and slammed the “treacherous” and “anti-Sharia” Pakistan Army for being the “main obstacle” in this path.

The Islamist organisation declared that its “holy war” is only against the “impure” Pakistan Army and has “no external or global agenda”.

Issuing a statement on the current situation in Pakistan, the TTP said it has, like any other authority, established an active political commission whose aim is to solve the internal and external problems of the country through diplomatic means.

“The solution to all the problems of Pakistan is in the just system of Islam and the main obstacle is the treacherous and slave army of Pakistan,” said the statement issued by TTP spokesman Muhammad Khurasani and made available to News Vibes of India (NVI).

“By implementing the purpose for which this country was created, all the problems facing the country (economic, security, social, foreign affairs or with neighbours) will be solved in a good way,” the statement said.

The TTP said the “anti-Shariat (Pakistan) Army has trampled upon our religious and national values by illegally occupying our beloved homeland” and added that “Thanks to the ongoing holy war in Pakistan, this impure army will soon be defeated.”

Underlining that it wants to clarify some issues regarding the ongoing Holy Jihad, the statement said that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has no external and global agenda.

“Our holy war is against the treacherous and occupying forces of Pakistan. Apart from the Pakistan Army, we appeal to other forces like the police, peace committees and political people that you please do not obstruct us in the ongoing war,” it said.

The TTP also rejected the allegation of the Pakistani establishment that it was using Afghanistan for training and launching attacks inside Pakistan.

“We are fighting our holy war from our own land with the support of our brave and independent nation. We do not need to use the land of any neighboring country including Afghanistan,” it asserted.

“Mujahideen of Pakistan are engaged in a large number of activities regarding Jihad in Pakistan. There is no need for Mujahideen from regions other than Pakistan to come and participate.

“Specifically, the Afghan Mujahideen are not allowed to participate even by the Islamic Emirate of Afganistan (Afghan Taliban) and the same are the instructions from the leadership of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan,” it said.

“However, sometimes incidents involving the participation of some Afghans are the results of Pakistan’s atrocities,” the statement added.
