TTP says it foiled Army raid, killed & injured 7 soldiers

Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) today said it killed and injured at least 7 Pakistani soldiers while foiling an Army raid at its center in South Waziristan.

“This morning, in the Gurgre area of ​​Tiaraza Tehsil of South Waziristan, the army raided a center of the Mujahideen of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan,” its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said in a statement.

“Seven army personnel were killed and injured in the exchange,” he said, adding all the TTP comrades were safe in this gunfight.

Earlier, the TTP killed 2 soldiers in an attack on the Army in South Waziristan yesterday, Khurasani said.

“In Shen Satrge area of ​​Shaktoi Tehsil of South Waziristan, the mujahideen of Tehreek Taliban Pakistan attacked an army post with a sniper, in which two soldiers were killed and a spy camera was targeted,” he said about yesterday’s incident.
