Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) tonight said it killed 4 police personnel and injured a number of others, including an SHO, in two separate attacks.

At around 8:00 tonight, Mujahideen of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan attacked a police check post in Tehsil Kalachi of Wilayat DI Khan, killing 4 officers and injuring others, its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said in a statement to NVI.

He said all the colleagues of TTP were safe in this operation.

In an earlier operation today, Mujahideen of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan attacked the car of SHO Laki Abdul Razzaq in Syed Khel area of Laki Tehsil of Wilayat Bannu, in which 4 officials including the SHO were seriously injured, he said.

This SHO was at the forefront of recent fake encounters and raids on Mujahideen, Khurasani said.

The TTP spokesman also said that the “enemy” Pakistan Army had conducted a failed brutal operation in Dera Ismail Khan without causing any damage to the Islamist group.

“For the last three days, the army, police and their secret agents conducted an unsuccessful operation in different areas of Wilayat DI Khan, Tehsil Parwa, in which drones and helicopters also flew,” he said.

He added that the Army could do nothing except arresting 8-10 innocent people.

“In this operation, Mujahideen did not take any retaliatory action and no Mujahideen was harmed,” Khurasani said.
