Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which has declared an open war against Pakistani security forces, is causing heavy casualties to the military personnel by using snipers and laser guns.
In the latest incident, Mujahideen of TTP killed 2 army personnel and injured 2 others by using sniper and other weapons on Latka Front in Shaktoi Tehsil of South Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan Province late last night, the Islamist outfit said today.
Earlier, the Mujahideen of TTP carried out a Laser attack on Syed Karam Check Post in Teri Mangal area of Para Chinar Tehsil of Karam Agency in Kohat province, killing 2 army personnel, it said.
The previous night, the TTP attacked the Samarabad check post in Matno in Tehsil Badbera of Peshawar province with Laser guns and grenads and said there were “reports of loss of life and property.”
During the same night, the TTP attacked the Al-Haj check post in Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency in Peshawar province and killed a police officer Naseem, it said.
