Two Mild Earthquakes Jolt Doda in Early Hours

Jammu, Apr 12 (NVI): Two earthquakes of mild intensity were recorded in the Doda region of Jammu and Kashmir in the early hours on Sunday.

Officials, the first and stronger tremor measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck at 4:22 am at a depth of 10 kilometres. This was followed by a second, weaker quake of magnitude 3.0 at 4:37 am, also at a depth of 10 kilometres in the same area.

There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property, they said.(NVI)
