Srinagar,Pahalgam, July 12(NVI): In a historic first, U.S. nationals Heather and Hudson Hathway fulfilled their long-standing dream by participating in the annual Amarnath Ji Yatra.
They praised the Indian government and shrine board for the well-organized pilgrimage, which attracts hundreds of thousands of devotees annually.
This year, over 200,000 pilgrims have visited the sacred site, which features two main trekking routes: the 48-kilometer Nunwan-Pahalgam route and the 14-kilometer Baltal route.
The Hathways’ participation underscores the yatra’s growing global appeal and the unity it fosters among diverse cultures, while also benefiting the local economy through increased tourism. (News Vibes of India)
