Udhampur, Sep 12(NVI) : A search operation has resumed in the Basantgarh area of Udhampur district on the second day following an encounter between security forces and terrorists.
On Wednesday, two unidentified terrorists were killed in the ongoing operation at Khandara Top, Basantgarh, in the Jammu division.
Officials told the News Vibes of India (NVI), two unidentified terrorists were killed yesterday, and the search operation resumed this morning. The identity of the slain terrorists is yet to be confirmed.
He said the encounter began when security forces, conducting a search operation, came under fire from the hiding terrorists, leading to a gunfight.
