New Delhi (NVI): UP minister Kamal Rani Varun, who had tested positive for Covid-19, succumbed to the virus today. She was 52.
The minister was diagnosed with the virus on July 18. She breathed her last at PGI Hospital in Lucknow.
Kamal Rani Varun served as the Minister of Technical Education in the Yogi Adityanath government. She got elected from Kanpur’s Ghatampur in 2017 and was known to be a prominent fighter for women empowerment in her area.
