Srinagar, Aug 06 (NVI): Former Chief Minister & National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday said that there is a need to be extremely careful with situation unfolding in Bangladesh.
“We should be extremely careful and watch the situation with great care and we hope they will maintain cordial relation with our nation,” he said.
He said that unemployment and poor economic condition is the reason that led to the fall of the government in Bangladesh.
On assembly election’s in Jammu & Kashmir, he said,”The Election Commission of India’s (ECI’s) proposed visit to J&K from August 8 to 10 and they will come and announce or fix the election dates and there is nothing more than that.
Regarding proposed amendments in Waqf board Dr Abdullah said that “I haven’t seen any amendments coming to the Waqf Board Act so far, let them come, only then I can comment on the issue,” he said.(News Vibes of India)
