Udhampur, Sep 26 (NVI): Rahul Gandhi can’t but BJP will surely table the white paper once prepared by Congress against National Conference patriarch Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said addressing a massive election rally in Jammu’s Udhampur district today.
“Rahul Baba, you don’t have the guts to reveal what your grandmother Indira Gandhi used to call Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah. Why Congress jailed Sheikh for 22 years? Didn’t Congress prepare a white paper against Sheikh once? Can you make that whitepaper public, no you can’t,” Shah said in a scathing attack at Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in Parliament.
Shah didn’t stop here as he continued to fire salvos againstRahul. “You must have forgotten what Indira Gandhi used to call Sheikh Abdullah. Wasn’t he a traitor for you? Wasn’t he booked for anti-national activities?,” he said.
“It was because of the blunder of Jawahar Lal Nehru that PoK is with Pakistan today.”Changing his target, Shah attacked National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah stating that he (Omar) says Afzal Guru shouldn’t have been hanged. “Phir kya biryani khilani thi usko (Was I supposed to give him biryani).
Those who would support or promote terrorism will meet the same fate as that of Afzal Guru,” Shah said. Guru was hanged in New Delhi’s Tihar jail on February 9, 2013 for his involvement in an attack on Parliament.
The Home Minister raised the slogan: “Jahan huway balidan Mukherji, woh Kashmir Hamara hai, Sara Kashmir Hamara Hai (where Jan Sangh founder Shama Prasad Mukherji was martyred, that Kashmir is ours, entire Kashmir is ours).He said that the ongoing election is being watched by the world.
“On one hand, there is NC, Congress and PDP who want to revive the terrorism and on the other, there is BJP that wants to bury terrorism forever,” Shah said. He said that NC and Congress wants to do “ILU, ILU” with Paksitan again but BJP will not allow that.“Rahul baba and Omar Abdullah claim they will bring back Article 370. Let me tell him that if your next three generations will come and fight for it, we will not allow restoration of Article 370,” said Shah in an obvious reference to Rahul and Omar.
“This is not the Abdhullah regime, This is the Modi regime.”He said when Kashmir witnessed 40,000 killings, Abdullahs were enjoying vacations in London. “These people gave guns in the hands of youth through terrorism. We also want to give guns in the hands of youth of Udhampur, Jammu, Chenani not through terrorism but through police and securityf orces recruitment,” Shah said. He said that in NC and Congress rule, Cinemas were closed and Muharram procession was banned. “We opened Cinema halls and also allowed Muharram procession after 35 years,” Shah said.Today,
Lal Chowk sees Janamashtami procession, Ganesh Chaturthi procession. “The national flag is flying high at Lal Chowk,” Shah said and asked people to vote for BJP candidates in fray for the last phase of Assembly polls slated for Oct 1 (News Vibes of India)
