Surankote, Jammu, Sep 23 (NVI): Senior Congress leader and the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Parliament Rahul Gandhi today said INDIA alliance has managed to shake the confidence and psychology of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as evident from the face of Modi of late. Rahul said that the first preference of Congress will be to mount pressure on BJP led government at the Centre to restore the Statehood and if it fails, “we know how to do it.”

Addressing the massive gathering at Surankote in Poonch, Rahul said that first priority for the Congress party will build pressure on BJP led government at the Centre to restore statehood of J&K. “If they fail to do it after polls, we will do it and we know how it has to be done,” Rahul thundered from the stage.

The LoP said that in J&K, BJP pitched Gujjars and Paharis against each other. “One community was given reservation to fight against another,” Rahul said.
He said that hatred being promoted by BJP can only be dealt with love. “This is a fight between two ideologies: one promoting hatred and another promoting love on the shops of love,” Rahul said.

He said the INDIA block has managed to break and shake the confidence of PM Modi. “You can see a different Modi today. The PM who had 56 inch chest is no more visible. We have managed to break his psychology.

Rahul said that the government at the Centre can’t do anything on its own as it is the opposition whose writ runs large in the House. He said J&K is the first State in the country downgraded from a State to UT. “This is for the first time in the history of India that a State has been cut to a UT,” he said.

Rahul blamed PM Modi led government of promoting unemployment across the country. “PM Modi waved off the loan worth Rs 16 lakh crores to Adani and Ambanis,” he said. The LoP is scheduled to address a mega rally in Shalteng constituency of Srinagar later this afternoon.    (News Vibes of India)
