Srinagar, Dec 03(NVI): Kashmir schools are set to welcome the winter holidays soon after the completion of the ongoing exams with vacations starting from December 9 for classes 1 to 2 and from December 16 for classes 3 to 9.
The winter vacation schedule, carefully coordinated by the School Education Department, aims to provide students with much-needed rest while minimizing disruption to the academic calendar.
According to sources, the winter break for classes 1 and 2 will begin on December 9, while students in classes 3 to 9 can look forward to their holidays starting December 16.
The winter vacation comes at a crucial time, offering students in both urban and rural areas the chance to prepare for the severe winter conditions, especially in higher-altitude schools, where snowfall and extreme cold often disrupt regular schedules.
The announcement is a welcome relief for students and parents, as it allows ample time for rest and preparation before the new academic term begins. (News Vibes of India)
