New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in the world has crossed 10.85 crore mark while 23.9 lakh people have succumbed to the virus so far, according to the latest data released by Johns Hopkins University.
108,503,489 coronavirus cases have been reported globally so far while and 2,392,030 Covid patients have died due to the deadly infection.
According to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) of Johns Hopkins University, the US is the worst hit country by the pandemic where the Covid tally has topped 27,572,086 while 484,149 deaths have taken place.
With 10,892,746 cases, India comes at second place. Brazil has the second-highest number of fatalities at 238,532, in the world. Then comes Mexico with 172,557 deaths and India in at the fourth place with 155,550 Covid related fatalities.
