Srinagar, Mar 15 (NVI): The strategic Zoji La Pass on the Srinagar–Leh National Highway was reopened for vehicular traffic on Sunday after remaining closed for six days due to adverse weather conditions, officials said.

Following an improvement in weather and the clearance of accumulated snow from the road, authorities restored movement on the highway connecting Sonamarg with Ladakh, they said.

More than 2,000 passengers in around 300 vehicles were allowed to move towards Ladakh from Sonamarg after the road was declared safe for travel, officials added. (NVI)
