New Delhi: India registered 11,850 fresh Covid cases and 555 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 4,63,245 while the country’s active cases now stand at 1,36,308, which is the lowest in 274 days.
Nearly 12,403 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,38,26,483.
Consequently, the recovery rate stands at least 98.26%, which is the highest since March 2020, the Ministry said.
The tally of vaccination has reached 1,11,40,48,134 with 58,42,530 people being innoculated in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, the country reported 12,516 fresh Covid cases and 501 fatalities in 24 hours
During the previous 24 hours, 13,091 new cases and 340 deaths were reported from across the country.
A day prior to that, 11,466 fresh COVID-19 cases were reported in 24 hours.
Nearly 10,126 fresh Covid cases and 332 fatalities were reported on Tuesday.
The country reported 11,451 fresh Covid cases and 266 fatalities in 24 hours, a day earlier.
On Sunday last, the government reported registration of 10,853 fresh covid cases and 526 fatalities in 24 hours.
