Hyderabad (NVI): As many as 12 passengers were injured, when the 47178 Lingampalli-Falaknuma MMTS collided head-on with 17028 Kurnool City-Secundrabad Hundry Intercity Express at Kacheguda Railway Station in Telangana today morning.
According to Railway information, all the injured have been shifted to Osmania General Hospital, while two of them were discharged.
Senior officials have reached the spot and medical relief van and accident relief train have been rushed to the site to undertake relief and restoration work.
A high-level enquiry will be conducted. Meanwhile, train services have been affected on the Kasheguda-Falaknuma section, the information added.
