Srinagar: Security forces today killed three terrorists of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit in an encounter in Kashmir.
The gunfight took place in Nagbal area of Shopian in South Kashmir, police said.
All the three terrorists were locals but affiliated to LeT outfit, which is based in Pakistan and enjoys full support from the Pakistani military and government.
The slain terrorists were involved in several terror crime, Additional DGP (Kashmir Zone) Vijay Kumar said.
One of them, identified as Danish, was involved in recruitment of youth into terror ranks in Shopian, Kumar added.
