Srinagar (NVI): At least three unidentified terrorists were killed while three army personnel sustained injury in an ongoing encounter between police and security forces in Kashmir’s Shopian, police said today.
According to the police, injured personnel have been identified as Sepoy Ram dev, Sepoy Raj Kumar, Sepoy Durga Singh.
All the three Jawan from 44RR battalion have been referred to 92 base hospital.
Meanwhile, the officials said that chief of proscribed terrorist outfit Ansar-ul-Gazwatul Hind (AGuH) (JeM) terror outfit has been trapped.
Earlier, all entry and exit points were sealed in the area while a two layered cordon had been laid by Army’s 44RR, 14 Bn of CRPF and Special Operations Group (SOG).
