Imphal (NVI): Five police personnel and one civilian were injured when an IED (Improvised explosive device) blast took place at Thangal Bazar area in Imphal on November 5.
The police have reached the spot, which is just 150 metres away from the city police station. and launched search operations. So far no militant organisation has claimed any responsibility for the blast.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh also visited the spot and reviewed the security arrangement.
The impact of the blast was such that several vehicles were also damaged.
