New Delhi (NVI): The farmers protesting over farm bills and the Centre will hold the eighth round of talks tomorrow, even as both sides have failed to reach a consensus so far.
A day before the eighth round of talks, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar today said the government is ready to consider any proposal other than the repeal of three farm laws.
However, the repeal of all three farm laws is the key demand of the agitating farmers.
Earlier in the day, thousands of farmers participated in a tractor rally on the Eastern and Western Peripheral Expressways in a “rehearsal” for January 26.
As per news reports, the protesting farmers said that they will carry out a “historic march” on Rajpath along with military tanks on January 26- Republic Day, if their demands are not met.
