New Delhi (NVI): An earthquake of magnitude 2.9 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Noida in Uttar Pradesh today, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
The quake occurred at 37 km north-northeast of Noida at around 07:03 pm.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:2.9, Occurred on 13-01-2021, 19:03:31 IST, Lat: 28.86 & Long: 77.49, Depth: 5 Km, Location: 37km NNE of Noida, Uttar Pradesh,” the NCS tweeted.

However, no loss of life or damage of property has been reported so far.
Earlier, a similar medium-intensity earthquake had occurred in Rajasthan’s Alwar district few weeks ago, the tremors for which felt in Delhi-NCR as well.
