New Delhi (NVI): At least eight people were killed in a blast of a truckload of explosives in Hunasodu village in Karnataka’s Shivamogga district last night.
The massive explosion took place near a gravels and boulders crushing facility.
The loud blast that occurred at around 10.20 pm on Thursday night, resulted in mild tremors in and around Shivamogga.
According to media reports, a truck carrying gelatin exploded. Workers in the truck were killed.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed condolences over the loss of lives in the dynamite blast.
