New Delhi (NVI): India has recorded 14,849 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, taking the overall Covid-19 tally to 1.06 crore, according to the latest data by Health Ministry this morning.
155 virus linked deaths since yesterday have taken the total number of fatalities to 1,53,339.
Apart from that, with more than 1.3 crore recoveries, the active caseload comprises 1.73 per cent of its total caseload. At present, there are 1,84,408 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country.
As per the Health Ministry, about 1,03,16,786 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far. With this, the national recovery rate has reached 96.813 per cent.
