New Delhi (NVI): Union Tourism Minister, Prahlad Patel, today said in the Parliament that since the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, over 84,000 tourists have visited the Valley.
In a written reply to a query in Rajya Sabha, the Union Minister said that since August 2019, 84,326 tourists have visited Kashmir.
Meanwhile, among 87,94,837 tourists who visited Jammu in this period, 76,80,775 were pilgrims, the minister added.
The minister further said that 1,00,931 tourists have visited Ladakh since revocation of the erstwhile state’s special status.
