New Delhi (NVI): The Union Health Ministry today clarified that there is no shortage of Covid-19 vaccine doses in Rajasthan after some news reports claimed that the state would face shortage of vaccines.
“The factual position is that there is no shortage of COVID19 vaccine with the State at present. Rajasthan has been supplied 37.61 lakh doses and has consumed only 24.28 lakh doses till yesterday night,” the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said in a statement.
The Health Ministry further said that the central government is regularly monitoring availability of vaccine supply in all States and UTs, and providing the doses as per their requirement and consumption pattern.
