New Delhi (NVI): In a major strike, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) today targeted a Pakistani military outpost at Jafari, an area between Mach and Margat in Balochistan, and killed a Pak military soldier while injuring several others in the attack.

Jeeyand Baloch, official spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a frontline outfit fighting for independence of Balochistan, has claimed responsibility of the attack.

“Our Freedom fighters targeted a Pakistani military outpost at Jafari, an area between Mach and Margat. A personnel of Pakistani occupying forces was killed and several others were injured in this attack,” BLA said in a statement.

The attack is part of BLA’s efforts of defending Balochistan against sheer exploitation of the province’s resources by Pakistan and China in the garb of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

Just recently, in a clear warning to the Pakistan military and ‘exploitative corporations’ engaged in plundering of resources in Balochistan, rebel outfit Baloch Liberation Army has said that it will continue to intensify its activities against exploitative projects for an independent Baloch state.

At least 7 persons, including Pakistani military personnel and employees of an “exploitative company” were killed in an IED attack in Tandori area of Babar Kach in Balochistan’s Sibi recently, while five others were injured.
