New Delhi (NVI): The Election Commission today announced that Karnataka’s two assembly segments – Maski and Basavakalyan – and Belagavi parliamentary constituency will go for bypolls on April 17.
Bye-elections will be held to fill vacancies in two parliamentary constituencies of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and 14 vacancies in assembly constituencies of various states, the EC said in a statement today.
According to EC, bypolls to 2 Lok Sabha, 14 assembly constituencies will be held on April 17 and counting will take place on May 2.
March 30 is the last date of filing nomination and the last date of withdrawal is April 3.
