Bihar Board declares class 10 result

New Delhi (NVI): The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) today announced the result of class 10 exam and 78.17 per cent students have passed.

This year, the pass percentage has dropped by nearly two per cent as compared to last year’s 80.59.

The exams were conducted from February 17 to 24 in which a total of 16,54,171 students had appeared, of which 8,29,278 were girls while 8,24,893 were boys.

According to reports, as many as 12,93,054 students have passed of which 6,76,518 were boys while 6,16,536 were girls.

About 13 students of Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya (SAV) — which is a state government funded residential school — have topped the matric exam.

The candidates can check the result through the websites– biharboardonline.com, the result is also available to download at the websites — biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, onlinebseb.in, bsebresult.online, bsebonline.org, biharboard.online.

Meanwhile, in the backdrop of COVID-19, the schools will not release any offline result list.

The compartment examination and scrutiny of papers dates will be announced today.
