Arch of Chenab bridge, world’s highest railway bridge in J&K completed

The Indian Railways today completed the arch closure of the iconic Chenab Bridge, the world’s highest railway bridge at a height of 359 metres above the bed of Chenab river in Jammu and Kashmir. Chenab bridge, which is a part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail link project (USBRL), set an important construction milestone today with completion of the steel arch of the iconic Chenab Bridge.
