New Delhi: India recorded 30,773 fresh COVID-19 cases and 309 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total active cases now are 3,32,158 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,44,838, the ministry said.
Nearly 38,945 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,26,71,167.
A total of 80,43,72,331 COVID vaccine doses administered across the country so far with inoculating 85,42,732 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, the country recorded 35,662 fresh COVID-19 cases and 281 deaths in 24 hours.
On Friday, the country recorded 34,403 fresh COVID-19 cases and 320 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The previous day report said 30,570 COVID-19 cases and 431 deaths were registered in 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country recorded 27,176 fresh COVID-19 cases and 284 deaths in 24 hours.
Nearly 25,404 fresh COVID-19 cases and 339 deaths were reported across the country, a day earlier.
At least, 27,254 fresh Covid cases and 219 deaths were reported from across the country on Monday.
