New Delhi: India recorded 12,514 fresh Covid cases and 251 fatalities in the last 24 hours, Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,58,437 and the total active cases stand at 1,58,817, the lowest in the 248 days.
Nearly 12,718 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,36,68,560, it said.
The vaccination figure has reached 1,06,31,24,205, with 12,77,542 people being inoculated in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, the country recorded 12,830 fresh Covid cases and 446 fatalities in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, 14,313 fresh COVID-19 cases and 549 fatalities were reported in 24 hours.
The country registered 14,348 fresh Covid cases and 805 fatalities, a day earlier.
On Thursday last, around 16,156 fresh Covid cases and 733 fatalities were recorded across the country in 24 hours.
During the previous 24 hours, 13,451 new cases and 585 deaths were reported from across the country.
Nearly 12,428 Covid infections and 356 deaths were reported on Tuesday last.
