New Delhi: India has witnessed a drop in single day covid cases, with 14,148 cases being registered in the last 24 hours, against 15,102 registered the previous day.
The country also registered 302 Covid deaths during the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative number of fatalities to 5,12,924.
The active cases stood at 1,48,359 and the daily positivity rate is at 0.35%.
Nearly 30,009 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,22,19,896, the Ministry said.
Yesterday, the country registered 15,102 fresh Covid cases and 278 fatalities in 24 hours.
On Tuesday morning, the government reported 13,405 new cases in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country registered 16,051 new Covid cases and 206 fatalities in 24 hours.
On Sunday morning, the country registered 19,968 fresh Covid cases and 673 fatalities in m 24 hours.
A day earlier, the government reported 22,270 fresh Covid cases and 325 fatalities in 24 hours.
